Larre was born in Montevideo, Uruguay on July 27 of 1957, together with his brother Acharat. His early years were accompanied of the endless studies of classical music from his two older sisters. Later the hysteria caused by "The Beatles" and the "Candombe" (rhythmic percussion of African roots played from Uruguay natives) filled his musical interests.
