Originally from Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts, singer-songwriter Larry Zarella attended Boston's Berklee College Of Music, where he majored in vocal performance and music theory. After a summer of hiking, fishing and camping, in and around Alaska's Denali National Park, he decided to make Talkeetna, Alaska his home, and did so for many years, making a name for himself and his band, Denali Cooks, Alaska's very popular party and festival band.
