Last Friday's Fire was a band from Phoenix, Arizona, led by musical wunderkind Mike Condello and basically an outgrowth of his various Condello Combo groups. The group took its name (somewhat darkly) from the Apollo 1 launchpad fire of January 27, 1967--the week before the group was assembled for its first sessions.
