Laupie is making music since 1994. He started as a MC back in the days with the group Different Styles. In 1997 Laupie stopped with rapping and later on in 1999/2000 he started rappign again with Ebony a.k.a. Furgen as the rapduo The Mercenaries. For that duo he made the beats.
