Spawned out of the K-town hardcore scene, and originally named Virgin Suicide, Leathervein have been playing on/off since early 2004. The band started out as a conventional hardcore punk-outfit drawing references to early 80'ies american hardcore and later K-town acts such as Amdi Petersens Armé, Asbest and Young Wasteners.
