Leena Vanamo was born on 17.3.1964 in Helsinki, Finland. She got her first record contract in 1981 and then was released her first singles. Her first hit was duet with Frederik "Haluan vain sun" (Finnish cover of Voulez-vous danser) in 1984. Then was also released Leena's only album "Sua kaipaan". The album included two other hits "Viet itsekontrollin" (Selfcontrol) and "Tykkään susta" which also competed in Finnish song contest Kevään Sävel.
