Les Fantomes, the band formed by Thomas “Dean” Noton (guitar), Dany Maranne (bass guitar), Jacky Pasut (guitar) and Charles Benaroch (drums), in the summer of 1961. Jean-Claude Champon (Claude Channes) replaced Pasut in 1962. The group played mainly instrumental songs, influenced by the American and British bands like The Shadows.
