Les Ténèbres (pronounced /le tenebr/) was created in the summer of '07 by Gustav Jørgen Pedersen. The project was to play crushing doom metal in the vein of My Dying Bride, Ahab and The Fall of Every Season. The project developed and in the autumn of '07 Herman Otterlei joined in on bass, Johannes Radøy on guitar and Niklas Østergaard on drums.
