Les Variations was a French Hard Rock band from the late 1960s and early 1970's, that sang in English and was known for its rock guitar based music. Often, their songs and compositions contained hints of North African and Jewish Shepardic melodies as well as the Hebrew songs of the band members’ youth. The band members were heavily influenced by the Rolling Stones, Blue Cheer and Led Zeppelin, but came up with a sound of their own.
