The singer, composer and musicologist Ligiana is a daughter of Brasília, with restless blood and gypsy feet. After her graduation in singing, Ligiana crossed the Atlantic to study Baroque Music in Holland. From there she proceeded to Italy, where she began singing Brazilian popular music whilst concluding a master's degree in musical philology.
