Born in Provo, Utah, Fraser was inspired to create music from an early age. "I remember as a kid telling my mom I was going to be a singer when I grew up," she says. In her teen years she began to sing in various groups and write songs. She's proficient in both guitar and piano. At the age of 19 she gave her first solo public performance, at a Brigham Young University Acoustic Jam.
