Lola V. Stain is an ensemble from Skopje, Macedonia, formed in 1987 as a side project of some members of the band Анастасија (Anastasia). The name Lola V. Stain was taken from Margaret Dirass in order to help describe the sound of this unique band. It is in the tradition of ambient music but also mixes in the traditional folk music of Macedonia, including bagpipes.
