The idea of a making a band was brought up as a joke by original members David, Emilio, Miguel and Juan one day in 2004. None of them were particularly good at the instruments they took on, but practice eventually proved its worth in October 2006 as the band played its first show in Compton, with Jose [sax] and Charlie [trumpet] completing the horn line.
