The Hon. Louise Simone Bennett-Coverly is quite possibly Jamaica’s most loved Folklorist, Writer, Artiste. Miss Lou, as she is affectionately known, received her education from Ebenezer and Calabar Elementary Schools, St. Simon’s College, Excelsior College, Friends College (Highgate).
