Lynwood Slim, born Richard Duran in Los Angeles, California on August 19th, 1953, is best known as a blues harmonica player and singer. He also also plays flute, composes, and produces and engineer recordings. Slim started playing harmonica at 15. His early influences include Jimmy Reed, Little Walter and Big Walter Horton.
