M.G. & The Escorts musical heritage grew from the likes of Chet Atkins, the Ventures, the Shadows, and the Fireballs, and Santo & Johnny (who knew?). Add to that the influence of the Beach Boys, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jerry & The Pacemakers, and you have an idea of the hodge-podge of styles that made up this group.
