Madeixas was formed in 1996 at Blumenau-SC by the punk band Nocivos integrants Bruno Lobe (bass) and Jonathan Evaristo (drums). Some months later James Zoschke (vocals and guitar), Camila Zoschke (vocal) and João Pimentel (guitarra) joined the band. From the start one of their objectives was to play their own music.
