Maher bin Hamad bin Mueaql Al-mueaqly Balawi, is a reader and imam of Masjid Al-Haram. The saudi sheikh was born on the year 1388, in the city of Medina. The sheikh learnt the Qur’an at a young age and continued to pursue a mathmatics degree which he acheived in Medinah. Later on, he went to Makkah to become a scholar and taught at the school of Balaat. He became a well-loved speaker and preacher and became the advisor to Prince Abdul-Majid in Makkah.
