Malik Mansurov (Azerbaijani: Malik Məmməd oğlu Mansurov; born 12 October 1961 in Sumgait) is a Master tarzen, a player of the tar, a lute which is the symbol of Azeri classical music. Similar to Persian music, an Azerbaijani musician must be able to improvize inside the strict structure of a given musical mode.
