Maquinas was formed by Roberto Borges and Allan Dias in 2013 after rehearsals, free improvisations and extensive use of noise. The two friends from Fortaleza, in the northeast of Brazil. With Borges on guitar and Dias on bass, the two invited Guilherme Lins to the drum kit and Samuel Carvalho to pair with Borges as the other guitarist.
