Marc Brierley was part of the British contemporary folk scene from 1966 to 1973. He was a contemporary (and friend) of guitarists Bert Jansch and John Renbourn, amongst others. He recorded his first e.p. in 1966 on Transatlantic Records, which featured him solely on guitar and vocals- playing a style reminiscent of Bert Jansch.
