After the demise of Dutch AOR band Lucifer (1972-1978), best known for their Dutch hit 'House For Sale' (#4 in the Dutch Top 40 in 1975), singer Margriet Eshuijs (born Zaandam, Netherlands, 14 October 1952) embarked on a solo career under her own name. She released her 1979 début solo LP (and the five singles taken from it) simply as Margriet Eshuijs.
