Mark Gage Biography from allmusic.com Born in rural New York State in the early '60s, Mark Gage (aka Vapourspace, Cusp) grew interested in electronic music of all kinds while growing up. He began recording in 1983, though his first release didn't appear until over ten years later. Now based in Rochester, Gage called Plus 8 label-head Richie Hawtin (aka Plastikman) and eventually signed a contract.
