Markus Apitius is influenced by pop, prog, psychedelic, new wave and folk music. He writes and sings in English, the language of his musical roots. Markus Apitius presents his songs live with piano and acoustic guitar accompanied by bass and cajon. Born in Voorschoten, Netherlands he grew up in Nippes close to the centre of Cologne.
