Matt Colvin was born in the foot hills of the Virginia blue ridge mountains were he learned the basics of blues and hard rock, then drifted south to Richmond, Virginia. Where he started playing in original instrumental metal band call Mas Fina. Continueing to play electric blues and jamband acoustic music, he discovered stoner rock and it changed his world, he started a Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age cover band with some friends called fULLPELT.
