Matthew Cain (born Dec. 30, 1984), was the pseudonym of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cain Matthew Brewer. After living in Arlington, Iowa, for the entirety of his childhood, Cain began moving around his home state in 2004, playing in various bands. Most notably, he fronted the Iowa City alt-country rock band The Failers in 2006 and early 2007. Cain left Iowa City for the town of Maynard, Iowa, in July 2007.
