Max Lorenz (born Max Sülzenfuß, 10 May 1901 in Düsseldorf, died 11 Jan 1975 in Salzburg). German heroic tenor famous for singing Wagner. Lorenz studied with Ernst Grenzebach in Berlin. He made his debut at the Semperoper in Dresden in 1927.
