One of the few female MCs from Santos, at São Paulo's lower seaside, Giovanna Avino - aka MC Gi, 20, - has been writing writing social issues-themed lyrics from an early age. But by the end of 2006 she jumped headfirst into funny baile funk territory and hasn't stopped ever since!
