The trio of jazz greats Mel Tormé (vocalist, 1925-1999), George Shearing (pianist, 1919-2011), and Gerry Mulligan (saxophonist, 1927-1996) performed live together on occasion, first in 1977. They are represented live on record by the Concord Records CD, The Classic Concert, released in 2005.
