Anastassia Papisova (Meldis) is a first Celtic harper from Russia. She began to teach herself the harp in 1998 because she was impressed by music of Alan Stivell and Clannad. Celtic harps were just not available in Russia. Her luck was in, however, a friend of her moved to France and was able to get a harp.
