Melis Bilen was born in December 10, 1985 in Istanbul, Turkey. She graduated from Darussafaka High School and then Sabanci University as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer in 2008. After her graduation, she decided to be professionally involved in music rather than engineering. In her childhood, Melis sang in elementary school choirs, gave her first concert in TRT Radio.
