Memphis is a 2009 Broadway Musical by David Bryan (music and lyrics) and Joe DiPietro (lyrics and book) based on a concept by George W. George. Memphis begins in Memphis, Tennessee in the 1950s, where Huey Calhoun, a white department store employee, discovers his love of rock 'n roll.
