Formed by Andy Stylee in the mid 90's, Metro Stylee quickly became "the band you either love or love to hate". No matter which side of the fence you were on, it was kinda hard to resist the soulful, yet quirky vibe of Metro Stylee. Playboy dubbed them "band ready for the big time" in their 1997 music issue, and the Stylees played twice at SXSW, on the same bill as the not yet famous Hives.
