Mfiliseni Zamokwakhe Magubane was born at Ngudwini (Eshowe), north of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal on the first of January 1965. Eshowe still remains close to his heart to this day and has been a subject of a number of his songs. Mqabuleshesha (as he is affectionately known to his adoring fans) has a career that spans over thirty years in the music industry. His entry to the recording world is documented in 1986.
