Miðnes came into existence at the tail end of the nineties when a few friends from the University of Iceland decided it was high time that that happened. The fall of 2000, Freyr Eyjólfsson, Stefán Már Magnússon and Hermann Joseph, already quite commited, they asked drummer Andri Árnason to join up and make a rock album. 'Reykjavík Helvíti" [e.
