Midihead started his music career as a radio DJ at the age of 14. He started spinning in clubs by age 18 and shortly after joined the synthpop band Paradigm as front man. In 2000, Midihead released his first solo album under the name Monolithic. The album won Best Album of 2001 at the American Synthpop awards in Hollywood.
