Miki Parkinson spent half his early life in London, England, half in Vancouver, Canada. In England he learned to love music and, when he returned to Vancouver in 1980, he started playing professionally. At first in various punk or alternative bands like Immoral Majority, The Subterraneans, and Dirt.
