Asahina Mikuru is a character in the 2006 anime Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya). Mikuru sings the OP song for and stars in the in-series movie/live action drama filmed (amateurishly) by the other members of the SOS brigade - Koi no Mikuru Densetsu (song), and Asahina Mikuru no Bōken (The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina - film), respectively.
