Mimimic is the alter-ego of Diogo Carneiro, singer for the now defunct Portuguese indie-rockers Iconoclasts. Going from melancholic to exuberant and back, Mimimic's output can be loosely described as psychedelic electronica with layers of hazy, mellow synths that lazily spiral away contrasting with hip-hop inspired beats, constantly guided by an ambient, at times lo-fi aesthetic sensibility.
