'Mined' is Kofi Holmes Attivor, born to a Ghanaian family in Tooting in London, which gave him eight names at birth and a soundtrack of 'Rhythm and blues'. After pursuing a Molecular Cell biology degree at the University of York, he investigated the sonic landscapes of Brian Eno's "Music for Airports" and the work of artists like Spooky Black, Majical Cloudz and Foals.
