MISSOURI DIRT was formed in the greater CHICAGOLAND area in 1977 and this release was the first for ILLMO RECORDS. THE release of IT`S FOR YOU!! by MISSOURIDIRT was recieved very well everywhere ,but seemed to really grab on to the CALIFORNIA BAY AREA scene of the late 1970`s. Sadly this group broke-up after only this one release leaving this album to be one of the most sought after recordings of the late 70`s JAM BAND ERA.
