Modern Day Citizen was formed in a finnish town called Turku in 2009. The band released their debut demo titled "I" in 2010. Songs of the first demo got some airplay on finnish rock radios and the opening song "Marrow" eventually took the band to perform in the finals of Radio Rock's Starba 2010 competition for unsigned bands.
