Serge Bakanev, a.k.a. Mombus lives and works in Murmansk, north-western Russia. As a scientist of a Polar research institute he studies populations of Red king crabs and Northern shrimps in the Barents Sea. In his leisure time he makes music and videos and organizes festivals. He has been making music since 2000 when he purchased his own sampler and PC.
