Monchichi Potencial was formed after the Subicz brothers had won a remix contest with the space-funk version of "Nincsen a világon" by hungarian band Amorf Ördögök. They started playing live after two months of rehearsals in may 2003 and the band started to make their own sound and atmosphere.
