There are at least three bands using this name: 1) Mortus is a Melodic Death Metal band from Linz, Austria. Formed as Sadistic Hate in 1993 they changed their name to Mortus in 1994. It is very likely that the band either split-up or is inactive, as there have been no news on their website for two and a half years.
