Michael Scholl was in a car accident in 1994. He broke 3 vertebrae and suffered traumatic brain injury causing grand mal seizures that went undiagnosed until he suffered one inside a hospital. It was shortly thereafter he began producing his own music, using an unknown software package, moving up and up as holidays progressed.
