Murari Band originally formed in 1977. Balabhadra dasa and Naradi devi dasi were two of the founding members of the Murari Band and they have been performing and writing Vedic-based songs together for more than thirty five years. In the early Eighties the Murari Band was joined by guitarist Hasyagrami dasa, who was fixture in the New York music scene during the late Sixties.
