Started in 1973, and disbanded in 2006, Musica Antiqua Köln has been one of the world’s best historical performance ensembles of baroque music. Performances have been marked with intensity, research into older performance styles, and the use of original instruments. MAK produced most recordings on DG Archiv Produktion.
