Mystery of Sorrow is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and ex Vanishment (other members joined Vegas band Losing Tomorrow) keyboardist & vocalist David Ayala AKA "the artist formerly known as Fritz". Started prior to 2000 , MoS started out an outlet for David to explore other musical styles. In late 2005, David left Vanishment (not an easy decision) and moved from Nevada to Iowa where Mystery of Sorrow is now his only musical endeavor.
