Naess were a short lived progressive black metal/doom band from central wisconsin. Drawing on inspirations such as deep ecology, the writings of Arne Naess, a deep connection to nature, and the influence of a wide array of music styles, Naess existed to create atmospheric spontaneous celebrations of the Earth's majesty and a scorching animosity at our deliberate destruction of that same beauty.
